FlorianAI now connects to Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot. A fire department running FlorianAI, an AI operations assistant built for fire departments, can now ask questions about its own records management, dispatch, staffing, reporting, policy, and training data from inside the AI assistant it already uses, and get an answer built from current records instead of last month's export. The connection runs on MCP, the open standard that lets an AI assistant reach data held in outside systems. This first release is read-only.

What is FlorianAI MCP?
One connection between the systems your department already runs and the AI account it already pays for.
Nothing you currently run gets replaced. Your records management, dispatch, and scheduling platforms stay where they are and keep doing their jobs. FlorianAI reads across them and answers in the assistant you already have open.
The systems it reaches today include records management, dispatch, staffing and scheduling, NERIS reporting, SOP and policy libraries, training records, and more. We’re adding systems continuously, so if your department runs something you do not see, ask.
What can I do with FlorianAI MCP?
Three things are live now:
- Ask questions of your department's data from your ChatGPT account.
- Generate reports in plain language from your Claude account, and change the question to get a new report rather than filing a request with somebody else.
- Build interactive charts and dashboards from your Lovable account.
The questions worth pointing at it are the ones no single system can answer on its own, because the answer only exists when the data is joined. Is response quality slipping on minimum-staffing days? Which certifications lapse before the next apparatus assignment? Are the stations running the most overtime the same ones running the most calls? Your scheduling platform can tell you about scheduling. Your records system can tell you about incidents. Neither one can see the other.
Every AI Answer Cites Its Sources
Our MCP retrieves data and the AI response names the systems it pulled from, so your team can go read the passage and confirm the output rather than taking it on faith. A chief who cannot check an answer will not stake a council presentation on it, and should not.
How do I install it?
No IT staff required. There is nothing for your personnel to install or configure. We handle the connection with you.
It runs on access your department allows. The connection is scoped to what you grant it, provisioned by the department, not by an individual on a personal account.
You need an AI tool account. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or another assistant that supports MCP. If your department doesn’t have one yet, you can use FlorianAI built-in version that gets sorted during setup.
Why This Matters Now
We ask about the manual data chase in every chief interview and demo conversation we run. Three fire chiefs have told us it takes them two to six hours a day, pulling from separate systems and stitching the results together to answer questions other people are waiting on. Three chiefs is three chiefs, not a national survey. But it is a consistent answer from people with no reason to inflate a number about their own workday.
There is a second reason. A CPSE survey of 156 chiefs at accredited departments found that only 14% have a formal AI policy while 40% already work in an agency that provides AI tools. Personnel are already asking AI questions about department business. The version that runs on department-provisioned access, cites what it consulted, and reads current records is the version a chief can actually govern.
How to Get It
FlorianAI MCP is available now to departments running FlorianAI. If you already have it, contact us and we will configure the connection with you. If you do not, schedule a demo and bring the question that currently takes four exports and a morning.
Full detail on what the connection reaches and how it works is on the FlorianAI MCP page.
